CX197 - Measuring manifold for oil condition monitoring
CM100 - Moisture sensor
CV100 - Viscosity sensor
CW100 - Wear sensor
The measuring manifold CX 197 is an intelligent measuring system equipped with a particle monitor Patrick, a viscosity sensor CV100 and a humidity sensor CM100, which can also be used separately. Combined with the measuring device MultiSystem 5060 Plus / 5070, test data from various systems can be evaluated and the change in the oil condition can be illustrated. This information can be used to prevent failures and optimally plan installation work. Minimess® test points 1620 allow connection to hydraulic systems.
The sensor detects the physical oil characteristics as well as their temporal change. Since the conductivity and the relative dielectric constant have a strong temperature influence, the sensor outputs the values at a reference temperature, in addition to the characteristic values at the current temperature, after a learning phase. The sensor is able to automatically evaluate state changes as well as its own functional state.

The sensor detects the number of ferromagnetic particles that collect at the permanent magnet of the sensor head. These may be fine particles in the micrometer range and coarse fragments in the millimeter range.
On the basis of the output signal can be read the coverage of the surface.
In addition, the sensor has the possibility to compensate the magnetic field, whereby the particles are released.
The change in wear can be inferred from the time intervals between the cleaning operations.
