Hoses / Hose Line / Hose Pipe

Hydrotechnik delivers pricked hoses in DN 2 and DN 4 with various fittings. Hydrotechnik Hoses are made for different kind of working pressures e. g. 315 bar, 400 bar or 630 bar. Choose the right material for your application out of a portfolio of six different hose materials. Our service provides a production of every length of hose which is needed.

Criteria for Selection of Hoses and Fittings

1. To achieve maximum operating pressure (pN):

  •    -  When selecting a hose assembly, it is critical to be aware of the operating pressures of the hose material and of the connection fitting. The lowest pressure determines the maximum operating pressure of the complete hose assembly.

2. To achieve optimal use in different media:

  •    -  Hose assemblies can be used with different media, as long as the end connections are suitable. To check the compatability for different media, please click here.

Notes for Operation and Installation

  •    -  Hose assemblies should not be strained during operation by external influences like tension, torsion, and pressure.
  •    -  The smallest mentioned bending radius of the hose must not be exceeded at any time.
  •    -  Hose assemblies have to be protected against external damages caused by thermal, chemical, or mechanical influences.
  •    -  Painting or marking of hose assemblies should be avoided.

Notes for Storage of Hose and Hose Assemblies

  •    - Optimum storage conditions are temperatures between +15°C and +25°C and a relative air humidity of 65%.
  •    - Shield assemblies against UV-radiation by special UV-impervious foils.
  •    - Avoid sources of radiant heat as well.
  •    - Hoses and hose material should be kept away from ozone building light fittings and electronic instruments which could cause sparking. (e.g. mercury vapor discharge lamps).
  •    - The storage time should not exceed four years for hoses and two years for hose assemblies.
